Data Retention & Deletion

Default Behavior

When you deactivate or uninstall YOOAdmin:

• Settings are preserved — colors, logo, preferences remain in the database
• Notifications are kept — in case you reinstall
• No WordPress content is affected — posts, pages, users, media remain untouched

Complete Data Removal

To delete all YOOAdmin data permanently:

1. Settings → Behavior → Enable “Delete Data on Uninstall”
2. Save settings
3. Deactivate and delete the plugin

This removes:

• All YOOAdmin options from wp_options
• Custom database tables (yp_notifications, yp_user_preferences, etc.)
• User meta keys related to YOOAdmin
• Uploaded logos and favicons

Your WordPress content (posts, pages, users, media) is never affected.
