General & Priority Settings

Setting Scope Description
Convert Admin Banners to Notifications Site-wide Captures WordPress admin notices (the colored banners that appear at the top of admin pages) and routes them into the YOOAdmin notification dropdown instead. Banners are removed from the page and stored as notifications.
Receive YOOAdmin Notifications (Extended only) Site-wide Allows YOOAdmin to deliver notifications (plugin updates, security alerts, new feature announcements) to your site via external API. Requires an active license.
Database Cleanup Button to delete all stored banner notifications from the database immediately. They will regenerate on the next page load if banners are still active.
Hide Low Priority Per user Hides low-priority notifications from the dropdown.
Hide Medium Priority Per user Hides medium-priority notifications from the dropdown.

Display & Behavior

Setting Default Description
Show Invalid Notifications ON Keep notifications visible even after the plugin or theme that generated them is removed. Turn OFF to automatically clean up orphaned notifications.
Show Archived Notifications (Extended only) OFF Show archived notifications in the dropdown alongside active ones. Archived items are always visible on the dedicated Notifications page regardless of this setting.
Auto-Dismiss Low Priority OFF Automatically removes low-priority notifications from the dropdown after 24 hours.
Group Similar Notifications ON Groups related notifications together (e.g., “3 plugin updates available” instead of one entry per plugin).
Show Count Badge ON Shows a numeric unread count on the notification bell icon in the header.
Notification Sound ON Plays a brief sound when new notifications arrive.
Auto-Archive Delay (Extended only) 14 days How long notifications for removed items are kept before being automatically archived. Options: 7 days, 14 days, 30 days, 60 days, Never.

System Status (informational)

Displays:

  • Total Notifications — number of notification records stored in the database.
  • Unread Notifications — count of unread items, with “Action Required” or “All Read” status.
